FC Navy 2 -- BSC 1 (Navy hasn't dominated vs the Div. 1 teams and BSC can be dangerous)
LO 4 -- Valley FC 0 (Just a matter of time before Valley gets, their first goal...but not here)
THUSC 1-- WSM 1 (THUSC will have trouble with the dangerous WSM strikers)
Pacific 2 -- WUSC 1 (WUSC is really struggling this Spring and Pacific takes advantage)
EMFC 3 -- Rush 1 (Rush has had a tough time handling this team of late)
Pacific 2 -- FC Wht 1 (It's tough to predict FC White not knowing Navy girls will play)
Sun--
LO 2-- SS 0 (Spirit goes 2-0 this weekend but gets a better game from SS this time)
Navy 2-- ESUFC 1 (Eastside is no pushover and have given spirited battles in the past)
BSC 2 -- Valley 1 (Valley gets their first goal and BSC gets their second win)
THUSC 4 -- FC Wht 0 (THUSC finally breaks out here)
Rush 2 -- WUSC 1 (These teams are very close, but Rush is better by a whisker this Spring)
EMFC 4 -- Pacific 0 (Pacific keeps it close for a half but Eugene has too much firepower)
WSM 3 -- Rush 1 (WSM proves they belong in premier. Rush goes home very, very tired)
Basketball season is nearly over for the majority of U12 soccer players. Time for your predictions to change?
All this slap fighting about U12 soccer. As if U12 matters. People, understand that over the next three years about 40% of the girls in your league will leave soccer or drop down and play on rec level teams. This is a marathon, not a sprint. It's a sport of attrition. No one gives a rats arse about how your U12 select level team does today.
Remember, when, and if, the time comes, schools give scholarship offers to individual players, not teams. Worry about your kid, not the team she is on. Right now, make sure she is being challenged, but not overwhelmed.
The great U12 players today may be the great U18 players down the road. However, probably not. Just wait, some little snotty nosed kid who played on a low level team at U12 will be one of the top U16 players and everyone will say "where did SHE come from?"
The most important thing that a U12 player can have is CONFIDENCE. Not cockiness.
And from now on, stop worrying about which team has beaten which team. That's WAYYYYYYYY more important to the parents than it is to the kids. Trust me, 10 minutes after the game, take a look at your kid's texts. They will be about everything BUT soccer. Life is more important to them, not SOCCER.
I think Eugene continues to show they are the likely one to start to emerge as the dominate team. LO has put themselves among the top with THUSC and FC Ptd. Surprisingly after that, bottom of premier and top of division 1 all seem pretty closely knit.
The State Cup is coming up and should be fun. Right now I give a big edge to EMFC and put THUSC a little behind but clear 2nd because of how they have performed in tourneys and the NWCL.

At 12 is WAYYYYYY too early to let your kids loose with the cell phone and text. Life should me more important then the cell phone for a 12 year old.
I noticed that there are only three U12 teams signed up for OPL state cup so far! Does this mean the other clubs are considering OYSA State cup? Is it even possible to do OYSA State cup for the OPL teams?

Yes it's possible. All teams from the big 8 clubs will be in the OPL state cup and I'm sure most others will follow. Not everyone signed up right away. WSM is in the process of signing up all their teams for OPL state cup and I'm sure that is true for many other clubs.
