When did this all happen? Didn't Victor get let go by WSA? (Boys)?

I'm confused. Why would Gary take him back??
Washington Youth Soccer Official Movement Rule
    Effective January 1, 2011

Official (Coach, Trainer, Manager) Movement in Washington Youth Soccer

Approved by the Soccer Operations Committee on November 13, 2010, for
    implementation on January 1, 2011.

Reason: Mass migrations of teams are not conducive to positive reinforcement of
developmental programs and requirements for quality instruction and adherence to our
rules. Movement of team/club Officials has been put under an age restriction in the
Regional Club League (RCL) with a large degree of success in removing the primary
mechanics for recruiting whole teams into Regional Club structures.

While the age restriction in RCL has mitigated a certain amount of movement, it has also
created increased movement between Regional and Select, Recreational and Select,
between Select clubs only and between Recreational clubs only. This new rule will
    prevent importing for all levels.

2.13 Official (Coach, Trainer, Manager) Movement in Washington Youth Soccer

When three or more players move from one team to a team in a different club, a team or
club Official from the former team may not be on the new team roster or actively involved
with the team for no less than one year from the date that the third player is added to the
new team roster, without the express written consent from the departing organization
Board and/or Director of Coaching (DOC).

A team or club Official is defined as any adult acting as a paid or volunteer supervisor,
manager, coach or trainer with a Washington Youth Soccer organization.

Doesn't look like Victor, Manager, & Trainer will be coaching the 99's this next season...

I would assume that they don't go however. That team full strength is one of the top teams in Washington and with the gap between WA and Oregon getting bigger the older the girls get it would be hard to justify playing against Oregon when you are one of the best Washington has to offer.
It's a great move for VUSA GU12's to do OPL.....they will see the benefits at U15 when parents and players aren't burnt out from all of the travel....imagine having to travel to Spokane for a 60 minute game...rediculous!

I doubt they travel 6 hours for a game, i could be wrong.
What? OPL requires this amount of travel. Vancouver to Bend is 4 hours EACH way. Sounds VERY stupid to me.

Imagine having Bend for every away game. Crossfirex2, Northwest Nationals, Eastside, Spokane, Washington Rush, and Dos. 3-6 hours every away trip. OPL's got nothing on RCL travel from Vancouver.

Really??? Defending Victor??? Victor is released, but he won't be coaching the 99's...

Unprofessional??? Isn't biting children, drinking around the players, & collecting money for private lessons of the players you're getting paid to coach a little unprofessional. I don't think anyone is going to disagree that Victor needed to go!

How does one handle an entire team packing their bags orchestrated by the coach?

                    1) Fire the coach? NOT PROFESSIONAL?

                    2) Release the kids? No they have a lifetime contract so he didn't do that.......

More so, how does a WYSA condone those kinds of actions saying we have firm rules based on proper youth development BUT in this case it is OK deeming that you can run your team however you want it along with jumping ship with the coach to further demonstrate the rules do not apply only are suggestions.....to heck with development and precedents.

Victor needed to go for his past actions but not what happened. Victor told SC that he would finish the season and challenge cup and then move on. Joe of course cannot have that and released him right away. They both are getting what they deserve.

Didn't Gary O. fire Victor from his boys team? Or how did that go down? Wierd that one moment he was coaching 3 teams (2 at SC & 1 at WSA) and now he is coaching zero...

                        Explain that defender of Victor...

Unfortunately, this team movement happens every year in Vancouver and because clubs don't want to look like jerks to stop it. It just gets done....

SC isn't releasing the players...Victor will not be allowed to coach this team if they choose to leave. I don't understand why they would leave when they're able to stay and play in the OPL Premier & NW Champions League. In addition to that, they get a way better coach. One would assume the majority will figure it out and stay. A few of them will probably go VUSA Timbers. Timbers are definitely a top flight team and playing in the OPL will be a good draw for that team.

Instead of clogging up the entire U-12 thread talking about Victor, why don't you guys just call each other. I am sure you can discuss that and the family reunion. Since your from vancouver, you must be related!

                                Week 4 predictions

                                Sat--

FC Navy 2 -- BSC 1 (Navy hasn't dominated vs the Div. 1 teams and BSC can be dangerous)
LO 4 -- Valley FC 0 (Just a matter of time before Valley gets, their first goal...but not here)
THUSC 1-- WSM 1 (THUSC will have trouble with the dangerous WSM strikers)
Pacific 2 -- WUSC 1 (WUSC is really struggling this Spring and Pacific takes advantage)
EMFC 3 -- Rush 1 (Rush has had a tough time handling this team of late)
Pacific 2 -- FC Wht 1 (It's tough to predict FC White not knowing Navy girls will play)

                                Sun--

LO 2-- SS 0 (Spirit goes 2-0 this weekend but gets a better game from SS this time)
Navy 2-- ESUFC 1 (Eastside is no pushover and have given spirited battles in the past)
BSC 2 -- Valley 1 (Valley gets their first goal and BSC gets their second win)
THUSC 4 -- FC Wht 0 (THUSC finally breaks out here)
Rush 2 -- WUSC 1 (These teams are very close, but Rush is better by a whisker this Spring)
EMFC 4 -- Pacific 0 (Pacific keeps it close for a half but Eugene has too much firepower)
WSM 3 -- Rush 1 (WSM proves they belong in premier. Rush goes home very, very tired)
