WSM runs a rec program. Beaverton is not going to have enough talent alone to field quality teams that can compete outside of Oregon. You're always going to have to recruit from outside the area.

One of the problems with THPRD/Beaverton area is that we are not keeping the best players. Some play rec and can't afford the time and money, have other sports, don't have rides etc. Some go to other clubs - FC, BSC, SS etc. If THUSC and WSM reach out to the rec clubs and all of the clubs start working together, maybe some of that could change. Maybe look at who is in the area before looking for the "best" outside. That's what ODP and the other all star type of programs are for. Lots of good players are not attracted to THUSC and WSM. Why not start listening to the TH rec clubs and find out why?

To clarify my point - THUSC and WSM don't work with ALL of the rec programsin THPRD. So many good players quit or go elseware. You should understand if you were in THPRD soccer. Many from THUSC and WSM live outside THPRD while those in THPRD are going elsewhere. WHY????

I think Tualatin Hills/Beaverton soccer would improve if the clubs could work together better.

Many Beaverton players also play for FC.

I doubt many head to the East side.
