Eugene Metro has several players committed: 2 @ OSU, 1 @ UO, 2 @ Portland State and quite a few still working out commitments with smaller schools

More big announcements coming from WSM, FC, and OSSA.

The 5 u18 girls teams are loaded with talent. Great games to watch if you have time.

Thanks for the link. I know the general rule on these forums is don't post player names. And, 99% of the time I totally agree. But, this is one time it would be nice to see some names (as were listed in the attached link). So, maybe it is still not a good idea to directly post names but if you have links like this, please post them.

It's a self-imposed rule or a rule that a few try and impose every now and then. The general rule is there shouldn't be any calling out or negative comments about kids, particularly by name. Since the roster of nearly every team is publicly available, it's not like player identities are a secret. The link to a press release is a perfect example. No names in the post, but names and pictures in the link?

Be nice and by all means if you've got something nice to say about a player -- let people know who it is. I don't recall seeing many complaints when the comment is something like "Sally Smith had a great game, wish she were on our team." The complaints come up when the comment is "Jenny Jones is terrible, we would have won the game had she not missed that shot. I can't believe she's on the team." It's not that hard. If you wouldn't want to read it about your player then don't write it. But if it would make you feel good to read it if it were said about your player then make somebodies day.

Agreed-U-18 group is very strong (5 deep) and competes very well out of state. I can remember when OR Rush was the Bend Spirit, the EMFC girl broke her nose during qualifying at u-11 or 12 . . . . .
