SC and Victor = idiots

When will you get a life and stop copnstantly posting about a subject that has no merit. There was another post on this board earlier about the FCSC meeting and making sure to attend. Did you? I don't think so because this was not brought up. Get over yourself and get a life. Stop trying to constantly bring this subject back up. You are Pathetic.

I have been reading these posts and I cannot believe some people actually defend Victor. Listen there were only three outside people at the SC meeting, the rest were Premier coaches. So you must be part of SC to defend this d-bag.

As far as biting--Victor likes to hug his female players and then gives them a little bite on their neck to make them squeel or flinch. Knowing Victor he thinks it's funny. So then one time he goes too far and bites too hard.

Why the hell is someone with his issues even hugging little girls, let alone biting them, even in a playful manner. (or what he would determine to be playful). Keep your hands to yourself.

If you are with SC, then you know full well what happened. Why would you defend him. No wonder why SC is going bankrupt. Idiots.

Finally, a voice of reason! Salmon Creek needs to stop trolling on these boards. Soccer in Vancouver will be greatly improved once this club goes bankrupt.

Do you really think that Salmon Creek would put this in their annual meeting minutes? That wasn't the venue for them to discuss negative (possible legal issues) regarding about their club.

Training Style

What can you tell me about his training style?

From what I've seen, Mamady is high energy, positive, focused on first touch and getting in position to do something both on and off the ball.

Our player has trained with him and Paul Goodrich. Both with very similar styles and energy.

OK OK !!! Let just all agree that Victor, like MJ has had some problems both on and off the field over a period of time. Both seemed to be both loved and hated for various reasons.

If you have an interest in having your player coached or trained by either, Im sure you find their whereabouts on a number of different threads here.

Those of us (like so many) that have been around this forum long enough have heard the arguments over and over.

Can we all move onto a more positive thought and help those that are new here trying to learn from all the years of experience and wisdom ? People have asked some very good questions lately and have turned here looking for an answer.

Not who is the worst, but the best private trainer. If you have a response, please provide direct contact (phone or email addy) or the club which they are associated with, so that all interested parties can reach them.

Different opinion

IMHO - The extra training is a waste and expensive for the results (if any).

If your kid is good, keep him/her training with their Club team. Take the money and improve your child's education is school by improving their grades.

If your kid is very good, ODP/Development Academy is the next path. Remember to focus on the grade.

If you kid is OK, focus on his/her training with their Club team and make sure they get playing time (even if it means playing on the B/C team. riding the bench just because it is the A team will not do it). Remember to focus on the grade.

One key point. Getting your kid out to play ball with friends is likely better then private training any day of the week. Kids can be more creative and development their own skill just kicking the ball around. Having an Adult stand over them pushing every min can work against these players as much as helping them.

Think back to your childhood and how you develop your game. Getting out and doing on their own is far better. Save your money for college. Trust me. You will needed.

My son is 9, he just went to a trainer today. I wish he would have gone earlier for several reasons. Firstly, the trainer had some great technical drills for him to work on. He looked at my son's footwork and gave him very good advice and could tell pretty quickly where he could use some work, like continuing forward when passing (he would kick and then stop). Where to position his body during dribbling, passing, shooting... If he would have been taught this earlier he would not have to try to break these habits. Just my two cents.

Not top secret, just didn't want to be accused of being the trainer or judged:). Cory Hand. He was really motivating, positive, had some great suggestions and exercises, and worked great with my son. He also didn't try to push for more training sessions. We have never used a private trainer for anything so my opinion may not be as good as someone with experience. But, I do feel that we got our money's worth. I think it's safe to say after visiting this website Victor will not be training my son. I don't know him, but why would I take the chance?
