Thanks Ireland for tying again, our girls couldn't get the ball into the net except for once. Good luck today tell your daughter to keep that knee up. They ran into our goalie both times we play Thelo team. Last time they got a yellow card and the first one they should have gotten a yellow also, we have a picture of that one.

ST, I didn't see ya. Did ya see the 2 shots off the post or the one just miss the cross bar? It was another one of those games. The girls did everything but put the ball in the net. Considering Aqua was playing 9 back on the defensive end the entire game, it was a little packed back there. Give em credit, they accomplished what they wanted I believe.

Good luck to everyone today! Wish I was in Bend next weekend to watch the matchup of the centrury!

Games like this are tough. Do you keep scoring or do you play keep away? Running up the score makes the other team look really bad. Playing keep away makes the other team look really bad. You're damned if you do or damned if you don't. PCU is probably playing up a level from where they should be and Harambee is playing down a level (or two?) from where they should be. Our sweeper got 2 goals today. It was just one of those games. I think we probably kicked 20 corner kicks today (put a couple in off the head... sweet!). I'm surprised the girl can still kick the ball. It's nice to have a blow out once in a while, but ya still feel sorry for the other team.

ST - Indeed, the fields at Eagle Crest were in much better shape. Groomed, lined, flags. Only a couple pot holes. What an improvement, you could tell someone took some pride there. The game, as always with these teams, was incredible. A physical battle from the whistle. Bodies hitting the ground all over. We had an early lead but with Rush's talent we knew it wouldn't be enough and sure enough, they scored on a corner kick late in the second and we ended tied 1-1.
We are picking up a couple of their players for Surf Cup in San Diego in November. That should be a load of fun!

SD - I caught the tail end of the Harambee vs Reign game. Your right, if there was ever a 'Tough Win', that was it. Total domination of the field. What do you do? What lesson is there to learn when you are up 6 or 7 goals, you have the majority of the team playing out of position and are still scoring? We had a similar situation in qualifiers, our left defense was playing right forward, our goalie playing center and they were scoring! Tough situation for a coach to be in. Do you keep the competitive edge and go for the throat or do you back off and risk the same result?

Anyway, I heard a couple of cheers go up for Shu as I walked to the field so I wanted to make sure I watched.

Rush Nike 94 vs Sunderland 4-1

The first half was a lot of back and forth Sunderland #85 scored first and then #5 on the Rush scored, so at half it was 1-1. The 2nd half Rush came out and played their game some awesome passing, #15 made 2 and #17 made 1 to make 4 points. There was an assist on about every goal or try at a goal it is nice to see the girl spread the goals around

ST & SV - I'm really torn right now as to who will win your division. So far this season, Bend has a little better scoring, but Ireland has a little better defense. I gotta admit, I'm leaning a bit towards Bend, but I'm not leaning very far. I really wish this game was here this weekend. I'd definitely go watch it, sigh.

SV or Yogdogg - one of you (or both) have to text me with the score afterwards. I just can't wait until the score is posted to know the outcome. Help a brother out!!!

I will definitely hook a brother up. I don't blame you for just leaning, It should be a good game and there is still enough season left to see a change in the standings. Though I think the girls are looking good you just never know week to week.
