ESUFC Boca Red best team..... Maybe not!!

HR United 97 was invited to a Adidas sponsered tournament.......... Clash at the Border. They played there first game this morning at 8 AM. They beat WSA Falcons 4-0. At 1 PM they played ESUFC Boca Red, they won 3-2 with a last minute curve shot to win the game. And at 5:30 PM they crushed VUSA Timbers Rojo 10-0!!!! They are off to the semifinals against WSA Pilots at 8 AM. At the same time ESUFC Boca Red and Black will face off to see who goes to the finals.

first of all if you read the prior links you will know that ESUFC Red and Black are mixed teams and not A and B; If ESUFC went out with a full A squad it may have been a different story.

Dont get too excited. Come fall season those two Boca teams will be combined plus a few more and will be totally different team. This is 3rd tournament they've played in that one Boca team or the other made it to finals. Pretty impressive you can split a team in half and they can still compete that well.

We scores twice in the first 10 minutes and it went downhill from there. They scored 2 in the last 5 minutes they are very athletic!! It was a great experince, especially because we were invited for free!!

I forgot to mention that for the final we recognized half of the kids that we beat from boca red!! They had two number 33, 45, and 5!! We told the ref but he didnt seem to care! And dont forget that they had 10 players on there bench. They dont play the game they play to win by cheating!!!!!

Ten players?! I thought you're only allowed 18 on the roster at game.

And the excuses start. I really doubt the ref let players who were not on the original roster play. There are rules in these tournaments. I know for a fact there are not that many double numbers on the Boca team. Maybe one and in previous games he taped a 1 before his number. Which by the way is allowed. Just because they had players sitting on the bench doesnt mean they were playing. They were there supporting their team. Don't try taking the win away from them by accusing them of cheating just because you lost. Good Job Boca Black.

I may see it on the first day; but by the end of the tournament and having ref'd a bunch of games; most of the refs just take the roster fold it and put it in their pocket. They then go thru the player cards and check them. Very rarely do i see a ref have the player cards and rosters out checking them. Not saying Boca tried to sneak by on this. But I know for a fact that refs don't check these over as closely as they should.

Secondly having players sit on the bench that are not playing should not be allowed. Only players and coaches that are on the approved roster should be allowed on the bench. If you are there to support your club great do it from the fans side of the field.

And I said if you are not on the roster, player or coach then you should not be on the bench. You should be with the fans. That way this kind of stuff doesn't come into question.

That is not a controversy. Boca would not cheat (even if they could according to you), did not cheat . . . no controversy. Maybe some sour grapes going on by kid or parent, but no controversy.

The Boca team doesn't need to cheat. They are a good team even with their team split in half. Both teams are doing well in all the tournaments they've participated in this summer. Even with mixing up the rosters for each tournament.
