Ranking the Age Groups

Expect to see a couple new teams in this group this year. Oregon Rush will likely be here if they can work things out with the OPL. CFC Fusion or OSA Legends could fill the other slot.

Fusion? They got killed by U13G Onyx so I doubt they can go premier.

In U14 two old teams are out and two new teams are coming in. In this case NEU Fire is out also LOSC Mambas Blue. To replace them are HR United from Division 1 Green and CFC Rangers, but since CFC is no longer an OPL team it will be EMFC 97 River Plate. Let me take a crack at the BU14 Premier OPL Rankings.

Are you guessing NEU and LO are out or is this a fact? LO had an A and B team, why would they be out? It would be fun to have some new teams in there but I wonder if they will be able to compete. Did OSA add some players?

Fact, the reason why is because the lowest 2 teams are out for the year. They have the chance to redeem themselves by getting first place in their year off of Premier. Also I dont know if OSA Galaxy added any players recently, but what I do know is that OSA might not be premier next year.

I have no doubt Boca Juniors will be there.
I think LO should be able to stay in premier; heard HR is competitive; though I have not seen how they have done against the other premier teams. Last I saw them was a year ago and they were decent; but didn't think any better than OSA, LO or NEU.

HR went against EMFC Boca Juniors and won 2-0 then went against ESUFC Boca and got clobered 5-1 then went against WUSC Arsenal and lost 1-0.... All in Nike Mt Hodd Challenge last year.

EMFC was a better team in the Spring then they were last Summer/Fall.

So HR hasn't had any real competition against the premier teams.

You are right, players skill develops, and teams evolve.

THUSC (I just think they are better)
WSM
FC (when healthy and with WSM keeper)
Eastside (not convinced yet.)

SS( No way they can stay ahead of pack with what they have lost.)
LO (do they still have a premier team?)

THUSC (watched them last weekend they are really skilled)
Eastside (or WSM hope they are hear to compete we'll see if they stay consistent)
WSM (or Eastside but heard the are ODP filled so they should figure it out)
LO (heard everyone is happy over there if they found some players who can score goals they'll be good)
FC (still a strong team and they get better every year with talented players)
Rage (still a good team but lost a good one so someone has big shoes to fill)

In the end, there is not one team at this age who dominates the play. What we are hoping for is to see a battle every weekend, what could be better than that?

What did I miss? Did Eastside pick up some talent? And if so, from where?
Also hoping Rush joins OPL, it will be interesting to see where they fit in. Plus a trip to Bend now and then isn't the end of the world. And OSA doesn't have much talent-probably will near the bottom of Premier.

Yes Eastside has new players this year, and a new coach. 2 of the girls have been playing up since u11 with Tottenham, and are now playing their age since Tottenham will be high school in the fall, stong players, both are going to regional camp with 97g ODP next month. Another one of the new girls has been playing up for years with various clubs, fantasic defender, also going to regional camp with the 97's. Coach of Tottenham now has both teams. Should be more competitive this year.

ESUFC Boca will have split teams for the summer tournaments (red and black). They split the teams evenly. A mixture of the 'A' and 'B' teams along with some new additions to the club.
