    Upcoming GU15 Teams and Coaches

Seems like some big changes coming to the GU15 for next season. Does anyone have any information about which clubs will be dropping teams? And if there are any notable changes within teams?

We may have to change clubs. Did once before but made a bad decision because we did not have enough info.

More importantly, does anyone have any information about who will be coaching next season at FC PDX, OSSA, THUSC, Eastside, Bridlemile, etc?

Seems like DOC of LO Fraser will be in charge of the OSSA teams. Thats LO OSA WUSC and Southside merger teams. He was at their summer training this week.

My daughter had Frasier as a coach in ODP and loved him. He did a lot to help her reach a higher level. I thought he was quite good.

This week like last, Fraser, Slover, Freddy and both OSA coaches were there. We actually got to see Travis there too.

We are looking forward to seeing exactly who will be taking the reigns of the teams formed under the OSSA banner at this age.

I heard Brian Gant is the U15 coach for FC. It makes sense since he had the U18 team last year

I thought he was taking the 17/18's. If he isn't, who is?

Coach Morrison was my daughter's ODP coach a few years ago. He was, without a doubt, the worst coach she had in her entire club and ODP history. Unclear about what he wanted to do in practices. Late often times, or just not showing up without notifying the assistant. Kept getting the players confused and was surprised once at a tournament when a girl showed up when he thought he had selected another girl. Games were difficult because he couldn't seem to remember what positions girls played. Terrible role model, if you consider coaches role models. Perhaps he has grown-up since, I sure hope so. Oh, by the way, she did go to Regional Camp.

Don't know much about him. What are his strengths?

Freddy is a very good coach. Don't know the OSA coaches or Travis, but OSSA could do a lot worse than Freddy as their coach.

Have to disagree with you on that one, Freddy is not someone you want your kid around. The most negative person I have ever seen coaching youth soccer. If you don't want to be out there then it's time to move on and stop coaching.

Hmm interesting. He's knowledgeable and gets kids to play the right way. But negativity is a real problem if it's there.

                              Just goes to show

Each person's perceptions are shaped by their own experiences and are therefore very unique. That it truly too bad that you had so many issues. We felt like Fraiser helped her to make the regional pool the first time ... its all perception.
