summer camp
My U-12 daughter just got back from a Timbers camp this weekend and it was fabulous. She learned a new move she loved, was corrected on proper form on some other drills and the coaches were all positive and fun. If you get one new skill from each camp you send your player to, it all adds up.
By the way, don't laugh but she's been going to British Soccer Camp for several years, and now even as a competitive player, she still wants to go! The coaches are all skilled characters and three hours a day of touches all week long is never a bad thing. Don't get all snobby with these fancy camps. Having some good fun goes a long way even with the most focused and determined players.
