Last night Cascade Futbol Club presented a great event. They had hundreds of supporters come out to celebrate, honor those who contribute to our sport, and raise money for the CFC scholarship fund. The objective of this event was to make sure that any child who wants to play, can play regardless of ability to pay. With all the BS flowing from Keizer, it was great to see someone holding the focus on the kids.

Wow, talk about twisting a message. A large portion of the player population in Salem struggles to pay competitive fees. The goal of CFC's scholarship program is to help these players afford to participate. As far as throwing any mud, I guess believe what you want. My comment was based on the last two weeks of mud being thrown by that other club giving the impression that all that happens in Salem is squabbling and bickering, this was an example of something positive. Good work
CFC keep developing players and great teams. Some people have very thin skin and are jealous of success. Hopefully the CFC organization can get its act together and offer a great program for players in Salem.
