I did not go but I did go down to the local pub and watch last night. Great game! It looked like the atmosphere was awesome and I love the fact that they showed on EPSN2 the Timbers Fans singing the national anthem en masse.
It would be great to hear from a few fans that went.

First Class facility. Everyone needs to take in a game this year and experience it first hand. Fever pitch was high and the weather didnt dampen anyones spirit.Comment

It was a lot of fun but I suspect they made it seem louder on TV. The atmosphere was great though besides the rain. I think US vs Costa Rica (97) was much much louder though but they gave us noise clappers at that game. It would be nice if they did that at a Timbers game.
I will say though I am very disappointed in the field size. Its ridiculously short for a professional team. The concourse was really wet and slippery. They need to do something about that. I thought I would be more awe inspired by the changes they made to the stadium but they just added more seats. Feels like the same place.
I wish we could attract more national team games but I really wonder if the field meets regulation for FIFA. Wish I could attend more but with tournaments and daughters soccer schedule we can't. But it was a blast.Comment

It was a great game! Players played hard, refs were as good as can be expected, and the facility was awesome. Regulation Pitch, but without the crowning of a lot of dual use facilities it may have felt wider, which could also be perceived as shorter.Originally posted by Unregistered View Post
