The last two years our sons' team played in this, played 3 games of group play, did not advance and headed home.

3 games. It's a fun tourney. People complain about it but most Oregon teams don't win the whole thing anyway. Can't complain about lack of competition if you're not winning it all.

Last year WSM Usoniums won it all in U12 (with the help of some Rage players).

Do I understand people asking how many games are guaranteed at a "regional" tournament? Clearly this US club regional is nothing more than a dressed up summer tournament. Just more OPL salesmanship trying to position this as a "regional" tournament.

Do you really miss USYSA Regional? Did you go all the time? Sorry. Sound like whining to me and a half empty type of poster.

Being a half full type of poster. Lets get back to the true question. It has been a place for the teams that did not get through State Cup, but that does not mean they are lower level team. Gone to Modesto a number of years, the team played were good to better quality.

This year, the Winners go to Boise. It is worth the effect.

Yeah, it's not a set game play or single elimination. Last year most got 4 games. So $895/4 = $223.75 per game for your 50%. $447.50 per game is a nice lil nest egg for the sponsoring club.
