Did they disband? My daughter's team was to play them but looks like its been indefinitely postponed according the the OPL website. I know they had issues with player numbers there were still some talented players left from Neon I believe.

This U18 THUSC age group has struggled with numbers through out high school after a very successful run through U14. It is interesting to see them try to come up with a team again after the last couple of years but most U18's are struggling now with injuries and senior life. It probably would have been better to consolidate with the nearby clubs, but it is the players that made their decisions. Let me just say that when tryouts come around in August for high school, it is very important to have an honest discussion with the players, coach, parents, club etc. as they plan ahead for the year. Hopefully clubs and OPL can help improve the process and planning. We've been through this experience more than once, but this example is particularly interesting from what I have heard.Comment
