Once again, thanks for pulling PCU ICE back up to the Silver. It would be a huge disappointment for my DD to play in Division 1, although she's only one of 16 players. I'm surprised everyone still puts Ginga in the Gold. They are a one note wonder with their offsides defense and that can't last forever. Also don't see LO beating the State Champs FCW Possession, but I know LO is going to be formidable this year with their two additions. BSC had a good turnout at tryouts so I wouldn't count them out.

Our team is staying in Corvallis per coaches' orders. Found the Days Inn for $73/night plus tax.

Finally, I would not count BSC Black Magic out has they had a lot of new faces at tryouts.

Truth- we will see you at the first game my husband will be the guy taking pictures on a tripod. So maybe we can meet at the game and SD daughter is playing Ginga, on the same field right before our game.

Shouldn't be stressful for you, more on our side Ice was the team that beat us last year in the QT. It will be a good game and if you are early we can talk to SD he will be the stress out one. :smt003 :smt003

Hey gang, on a totally unrelated issue, I was talking to my daughter about guest playing and she was totally up for the idea. My question is this; is there a guest player 'pool' that teams choose from or is it mainly word of mouth? How does it work? She mentioned she would like to stay within the U13 framework but would play U14 'B' if asked. She's pretty big at 5' 5", 107, fast and plays right and center defense (Also started at forward early last year). She has always started for her team (2 x State Champs) but is obviously willing to be a role player or do whatever is asked.

So, am going about this the right way? Any advice would help.

SF- This is a good way, but we need some more U 13 parents on here most of us are U14 Gold teams or should be Gold.

SD - Same with Sodium, we had a great first 4 games, undefeated allowing only 1 goal. But alas, 2 of those victories were 1-0 & 2-1 which doesn't earn them maximum points. So, like Shu's team, their destiny lies in their own hands. We play a sneaker team who has beat some good teams this weekend so the Sunday 10AM game will determine what happens.

Okay, now that the dust, and the parking tickets, have been settled, here's my predictions. Most of the previous predictors were on the money in lots of ways. Wondering what others thought about having all the games in Corvallis. For me seemed like a lot of soccer without a chance to go home and breakaway mentally before coming back to the fields.
