Guess not. And for good measure, lets give them the following Spring schedule:
they get to play #1, #2, #3, #5, #6, #7, #9, and #10.
This "Premier" division should have been whittled down to 8 teams. The games may have been a little more competitive.

U-11 girls
1. Salmon Creek (Fall Champs at 10-0-1)
2. USA Vapors (came on Strong to win the Directors Cup)
3. THUSC (super talent here but needs to prove they can beat the top teams)
4. FC Portland Navy (Struggled in the Directors Cup but could finish anywhere in the top four)
5. EMFC Athletica (came on strong after a slow start in the Fall, beat FC in Directors)
----------there's a drop off here---------------------
6. Eastside (have played top teams tough)
7. Willamette United (faded after a great start in the Fall, still very dangerous)
----------another gap here------------------------------------
8. LOSC Spirit (need to find some offense to have a chance)
9. Sherwood (really hurt themselves by not playing in the Premiere last Fall)
10. Sothside Fury (need to find some defense, allowed most goals against in Fall)
11. Westside Fuego (played everyone close, they could be a dark horse)
12. Aloha Express (Welcome to Premiere, prove me wrong here)

Look up North, 8 teams and only 8 teams in the top division. If you want in, you need to play your way in from Div 2. This makes most all games competitive and challenging, where Oregon's are not.
I am sorry, but we have too many teams playing "Premier" that are anything but Premier.

Why are we wasting time?

My understanding is if you play in one of the OYSA mini-springs you can be eligible for the real State Cup, not the wannabe one.

Call it 'the real state cup' if you want but I would rather have my kids play against quality teams then win 'the real state cup' uncontested.
