I was told that the LO goalie has played the first half of each game and the Rush goalie the second half

Actually, keepers have alternated starts so far. Bend keeper started first and third games; LO keeper started second game. Fourth game still to come in the A.M.

DD gets the goal from outside defense. One more invite game this afternoon and then a 7v7 tournament tonight. Holdovers announced tonight.

SD- up in Washington they always call them Dos. They usually have a good team. I am surprise how many good Washington team are still playing boot ball. At this age is the age it starts not working.

Eggy tell her good job way to show defensive players can score too.
Has there been any more girls that have been ask back besides the 4 girls you said the first day?

If Dos was a state cup semi-finalist then it was in the Challenge Cup. They were not in the semi's of the Championship Cup.

In the final against the Timbers, Dos was able to get the Timbers out of their game. The Timbers seemed to be very frustrated with some of the ref's calls. In the end, the better team won the game.

Congrats to the Timbers for repeating as champions of the Beaverton Cup.

Thanks for the congrats to ICE. The girls were happy to end on a high note. They are an incredibly nice, hard working group of girls and my DD is really enjoying playing with them.

A quick peek at the Washington State Cup results shows that Dos Red did in fact play in the Championship Cup this past year. However....they failed to make it out of the preliminary round. Sorry to burst your bubble, SD, but it appears that Dos Red was not in the top 14 teams in Washington last year.

One other thing to note about the Dos/Timbers final is that Timbers were missing a couple of quality players due to ODP Regional Camp. They are both pretty dynamic players, so I could see them making a difference in the flow of that game had they been there.

BTW Eggy - I was in CA watching the ODP games, and your DD did a nice job (although I'm sure you already knew that :D ). Very solid in the back all week, and a great goal to cap off the last game. It was a tough week, and all the girls representing Oregon ODP should be proud of themselves.

Thanks GO17. She was happy with her play. She had a lot of fun with the Oregon girls and met a lot of great kids from the western states.

Okay folks... let's not pile on SD. Sorry, to cause you the flak, SD. Everyone should know that I'm the one who confused Dos Red with another team and incorrectly stated they were WA Cup quarter-finalists in 2007. My bad. SD was quoting me and his only true offense was failing to consider the source! I promise never play historian, again... Cross my heart. :o
