Hopefully by Saturday we will have the schedules out. This is far later than the OPL and our scheduling partners at USS planned and targeted. Simply put, the schedules have been delayed because a large number of teams did not submit their availability to us by the requested deadline; as the requests come in, the schedules have to continually be readjusted and reconfigured because a large number of requests were for teams unavailable due to tournament travel, end of season basketball, etc., so the games have to be moved. Additionally, we have had to adjust schedules based on revised field availiability in the last week and a half due to the Pacific Coast Super Cup tournament next weekend, and the Northwest Champions League Finals over the weekends of February 26-27 and March 5-6.
The preliminary schedule was sent to the field coordinators earlier this week, and USS is currently working on the requested edits right now based on their feedback. As soon as they complete them, the schedules will be published.
While it would be ideal to at least put a preliminary schedule out for next weekend, the changes submitted to us from the DOC's and Field Coordinators over the last two days impact a large number of games and matchups over the next two weekends. It's not ideal, but we are trying to do the best we can with what we have. We are currently work on some things that will vastly improve this process for everyone for the 2011-2012 season.
