Can anyone tell me if there has been a dominating team from age U10-11 all the way up to U16-17-18? If so, which team/club? It will be interesting to see if any club trains them well when they are young and can keep it going strong.

Can Oregon teams hold the talent over the years?

Lake Oswego Defeeter
Portland Metro Red
Westside Metros Rangers
Westside Metros International
FC Portland Sapphire
The Thunder are probably the best of all. I believe that team lost a handful of games if any over that time span.

Bend teams
Oregon Rush 93 girls, now U17. 3x state cup champs, 2x finalists. Same group of players since U10, only added 2 non Bend players last year. To keep it going that long is pretty good, but Bend teams are certainly in a unique situation. They have to develop their own players, because there are no other clubs to get players from within 2.5 hours. Will be interesting to see if they can replicate this with other ages.

thusc neon was highly recruited by thusc doc from U13 and up, many new players added from odp and other clubs. not sure but believe only a couple of players were from original u11 once they got to u18.

9 players from original U11 team are still on the team.
10 players from original U12 team are still on the team.
14 players from original U13 team are still on the team.

Off topic.... They did not stay with the same club. They did not honor their new club by changing to the clubs team naming scheme.
Maybe they should be the emeralds.
Maybe we could have a thread that doesn't turn into an Ireland love fest. What have you done lately, this season, NOTHING!!!

Off Base
I thought adidas started a very good list. But now the Thusc contingent is again showing up. The U11 to u18 was the standard not 3 or 4 state championships. I know the West Villa Thunder won it every year u11 to u19. That is one great accomplishment.

Agree on that
It is getting very boring to read about how outstanding the Ireland are or how great THUSC is. Honestly, most the discussion have been waste of a good forum.

I would assume it is a pretty small number.
If a team is a good when they are young and the coaching staff changes, do the local clubs have coaches who can continue the development at each age increase AND continue to produce the wins. Say a U15 team has experienced great success since they were the young team and a new coach steps in. Do kids tend to move to greener pastures or do most local clubs provide coaches who can continue the trend? The responses seen thus far show it can happen, but it's not a trend with any club.
