I can't wait for this game to be over so we don't have to hear about this matchup for awhile. I want to hear no excuses, moral victories, or explanations of why you won even though you really lost. The winner has the most goals, period!

I would agree as a parent of one of the WSM kids the chirping between the parents on both sides gets rather pathetic. Both good teams should be a good game.

Usonians v. Crush is not a rivalry

I hate to disappoint those that feel this is a big rivalry or want it to be, but it's not. These two teams have hardly even played each other, and when they have Usonians have not lost. These two facts clearly indicate that this is not a rivalry. They played a few times at U11 (Crush did not win any -- may have tied one), they didn't play at all during U12, and have played only once at U13 (Usononians won in Chinook final.)

Both teams are good and very competitive. Both teams want to win, but don't make it into more than it is. It's just a league game that really doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot.

Good luck to both teams. Stay healthy and have fun. Hopefully some of the parents will stop being idiots and cheer on their daughters.

It was a good game to watch.

WSM controlled 60% of the first half, but just couldn't get close enough to the goal. SS was closest to score with a shot that hit the upright. WSM new gal (ex rage) player had one good shot, but was too far away to be effective.

The 2nd half was all SS. They controlled the play and the clock. Their only score came by way of a text book pass from the yellow shoed midfielder to their big center. The entire team moved at once and had several opportunities had the centers shot been taken away. WSM had several shots, but the SS goalie was there every time to stop em.

With SS missing some long term players lately sure didn't show an actual weakness in any one position consistently.

This is making for a great showdown.

To all the crap talkers out there..........

Instead of spending your time here complaining that all the other teams are weak, get out and kick the ball with your player or get them some skill training.

If you can't live with that, call the best teams club up and see if they will take a look at your player for a possible position.......if that's what will make YOU happiest.
