And most age groups only have one division now. That is shocking. I remember last year there was Gold, Silver, Div 1, Div 2, Classic, etc.

So Funny
This is all so funny. It only matter if you have kids playing in one league or another.
OPL has the larger numbers teams and most of the major clubs.
OYSA has the rest.
Even if OYSA cleans up their act, the OPL is not likely to go away.

Wrong words, but the right message
I guess that OYSA Management and Board can step up to get back in the game.
OPL Clubs have shown that OYSA is not really needed. ODP, State Cup, and other things that OYSA thought that no one would ever leave but did.
Lets be honest here. I am not OYSA or OPL when it gets down to it. I only look for the best soccer to provide to kids. OYSA did not provide it, the Clubs did.
Most all families don't know who or what OYSA really is. They know their Clubs in their community. OYSA is just a word they might have heard, but they have no real connection to them. (Chuck, are you listening?)
The Clubs in the Classic world wanted so changes and/or did not like the direction that OYSA management was taking. The Clubs vote with their feet and developed their own program outside of OYSA. That is their right.
Rec Clubs are looking at the same thing. PYSA is gone with 8-9,000 kids. Others are looking at their options.
OYSA is a premium service provide in a bargain hunters world.
If OYSA Board would listen, they need to skinny down their services and reduce their cost. They can line up contract folks to do clinics and training, but limit their full time operation.
If they want to compete with US Club or Private Insurance, they need to cut and cut deep.

Hear me carefully, I am not saying they don't share some of the blame, but come on! Let's be serious for a second, it makes sense for everyone to move beyond this, the longer either side insists " he wronged me, he has to say sorry first", the longer everyone else has to wait for the BS to be resolved. Sorry guys you all sound like third graders.
