I heard Jesuit graduated a large number of seniors. And you say they have a new head coach? With both those things factor into their bid to win the 6A title?
He is a far better coach than the previous coach. He will get more out of the team. There are going to be a lot of new faces but there are some good seniors and juniors on the team who play for good clubs and ODP.
Um, won multiple state championships at Jesuit prior to becoming the head coach at Oregon State? Was one of the most successful girls coaches at FC Portland prior to moving to Corvallis for the Oregon State job? Just a guess...

His credentials look great but will he be able to take a team that graduated so many seniors and make them successful his first year? I am thinking Westview and Sunset might give them a run in the Metro. Westview is still rock solid and Sunset is young and hungry. Should be an exciting year.
It will be competitive between those 3 for sure. I think that Jesuit fans will appreciate the different style of soccer they will see. Great for those girls to be working with a former D1 womens head coach.
It is going to be an interesting year, especially with the changes in the playoffs. Anyone understand the new playoffs? I read in an article this week that metro sends the top 3 to the playoffs, but all the other teams will play a team from a different bracket to get a chance.
I think all of the schools have potential to improve or surpise. It should be exciting.
Anyone want to venture out and make some high school predictions? Like, who will win the 6A this year? 5A?
Let's hear it!
What's the preview on boys soccer in 6A? South Eugene will clean up their weakened league in the mid Valley but what's happening in southern Oregon and Metro area?
Metro better watch out for Beaverton, although they were less than spectacular last year 14 returning varsity and 11 seniors! I beleive they will finish in the top 3!

I assume your talking womens soccer?
How many club players does Beaverton have? Seems like they did not do so well last year in general season. I thought Jesuit beat them like 9-0 but that was the State champ also. Just curious?
My knee jerk guess 1) Jesuit 2) Southridge 3) Westview 4 Sunset or Beaverton and Aloha in last place. Demographically speaking I just do not think Beaverton has a large enough area. But we will find out in 2 months good luck to all.

My thoughts;
1) Westview - solid all the way around. Only lost a couple seniors. JV squad was great last year so they will step up nicely. Another great JV team this year.
2) Sunset - Young & hungry. Only 4 or 5 seniors and several quality freshman.
3) Jesuit - Good talent in the freshman class, lost many seniors, new coach. Rebuild for next year.
These last 3 I really know nothing about except their record last year.
4) Southridge -
5) Beaverton -
6) Aloha -
