Be that as it may, I do not see SSC losing to any other Oregon Teams any time soon. SSC and the Usonians are far and away the two best teams at U13.
You forgot about Rush. They may not be OPL but if Rush were to play Crush I'm sure Rush would win. And to the person who posted about Crush winning State Cup, that was prior to the try-outs. Teams are different now so you can't judge them by the U12 results.

It's meaningless to talk about SSC being so bad now. They are the state champs until it comes around again and you can say that ain't so, but it's fact. Summer tournaments are filled with guest players because of players being on vacation. SSC is still a great team and you can say others are catching up, but don't go as far as saying "we would win now because they lost all summer". Other OPL teams have lost all summer. Lets wait until teams play consistently with their own roster before you trash any team.

The person you quoted never trashed Crush. They simply stated that Rush would probably beat them and I agree. Rush has added some great new players and has been a much improved team. They can be state champs all they want but it won't mean a darn thing if they don't do well this season. I think Crush is a good team and I think they'll be just fine but please don't get all upset and accuse people of saying things they didn't. You seem to be a bit defensive.

Aside from WSM, they beat FC, Eastside & LO, only now to take on Rage & THUSC, both of which are equal to or less then the competition from last weekend.

A rematch with WSM will probably have a different result if they don't register the two Timbers girls and the Rage girl.

I doubt that. Typically having guest players who have never played with you can do more harm than good. A team that is used to each other and gelled will typically win. Take the USA Olympic basketball team. You have the worlds best players playing and they lost. Not because they weren't more talented but because they didn't have the chemistry of a team who is constantly together.

I have no doubt that Crush could be Thusc because they are such a new team. I do have my doubts that they could beat Rage and I am sure Rush would beat them. LO was on a decline last year so that is no suprise. I hear FC has picked up some new players so look for them to get better as the season goes on.

Look for Rage to fall hard now that both their mids quit today. The big center is rumored to have moved to WSM Usoniums. Don't know where the lil U12 girl went to. Probably back to to WUSC, the only place they haven't burnt a bridge at.

Um if we are speaking of the Chinook Cup, Crush beat FC 6-4 - oh, and FC tied Usonians 1-1 - Usonians advanced in shoot outs

Speaking of FC...they may be the sleeper of U13G...Forward is back from an injury, new coach and new mid and picked up high quality players at try-outs. Don't count them out.
