I know that OR Rush and Ireland went down there. Not sure how they did though? I know that Ireland had a very tough bracket including last years National Champions.

Ireland

Game 1 vs. FC Slammers- Ireland scored early in the match to take a 1-0 lead and held on to the lead until 7 minutes were left when the Slammers scored off a corner. Slammers scored with 1 minute left in the match to win 2-1.

Game 2 vs Mustangs- Mustangs were last years National Champions. Ireland scored in the late in the 1st half to take a 1-0 lead. Mustangs scored with 10 minutes left to tie the score. Game ends in a 1-1 tie. Great match.

Game 3 vs Las Vegas Premier- 0-0 at half. Ireland dominates the second half and scores three goals to win 3-0.

Finishes 1-1-1 third in their bracket with Mustangs and Slammers advanced to the final with Mustangs winning the tournament 2-1.

yes well done to Ireland! That is a very tough group that they were in and it sounds like they competed very well against some very highly ranked teams.

This type of showing can only help the perception of OR soccer outside of the state.

From what i remember, and i may be wrong here, they played against some very tough teams last year too and didn't lose a game. It is great to see that 2 years in a row they have gone down to such an elite tournament and represented the state of Oregon so well.
