Starfire Spring Classic was full when we tried to register and hopefully we'll be playing in the State Cup that time of year so that won't happen.

We were going to do the Boise tourney this summer, but our coach is not available so we decided not to go. We played there last year. Great water park nearby!

I'm not familiar with any of the other tourney's you mentioned. Are they all in Washington (other than the Turkey Shoot)?

The Mustang Stampede is in North Cal. Viking Cup is Memorial Day Weekend and the Bigfoot and Rimland are up in Bellingham.

Talk to me about the Rainier Challenge and the Starfire Memorial Day Cup tourney's.

They're both the same weekend.

Our team played in the Rainier Challenge at U11 and I thought it was a good tourney (in terms of talent).

Our coach (new to our team this year) is a big Starfire fan (raised nearby) and wants to do the Starfire Memorial Day Cup tourney.

Any idea what the talent is like at the Starfire Memorial Day Cup tourney?

Is one tourney better than the other?

Shu D- The two to choose from for that weekend is the Rainier and Viking. Very little talent has gone to the Starfire for memorial.

Rainier Challenge is the tourney to play. The Starfire tourney to play is the one being held this coming weekend. It's my understanding most of the big hitters plan on playing Rainier this year. Ireland played as U12's and U13's and had a great experience. We would enter again this year, but we have too many kids playing ODP Memorial Day weekend.

Shu, your girls played Rainier their U12 year.

My DD played at the Rainer Challenge at U11 on the Timbers Team, she really liked that tournament. You will need to play at U14 to play kids at the same age group because they already had tryouts so they will be playing at U14.

The Nemesis found some teams to play. We will travel to Buckley, Wa to play a round robin with three other teams that will be at LPT's (qualifiers). Each game will be thirty minutes.
