Comparing CFC tournament with LO Cup
At several events in the past we have paid $5/day not for the whole weekend in Salem. Many of the events at Crossfire charge $5/day or $12/weekend- you also pay to park at events in Tukwila.
My understanding is this years Oswego Cup is $600? The parking fee is being refunded back to the teams. If the entry fee is actually $600 (couldn't find it on their website) then it's about $50 more than CFC if you add the parking based on 10 cars listed above.
As far as competitiveness, CFC's tournament has 12 teams listed for the "HS Girls Gold and Silver division" combined- 3 of them CFC host teams (there are no U15/U16/U19 groups and divisions as at Oswego Cup).
I can't vouch for the competitiveness of all the teams, but comparing the same U15-U19 HS group" at LO Cup I count roughly 70 teams from Oregon, Wash, Cal, Idaho, and Alaska. Not too bad considering other tournaments going on in California that weekend also.
