Not really fair since it was the United team they beat. The united teams are made up of players from all over the place that have never played together.

Agree, sometimes the United teams are simply state teams with less than 18 players so they fill in with overflow from other states. Many times these are Cal south or Cal north girls that are not in the top 18, but still deserve to be there.

Oregon came out on fire and earned a penalty kick in the 5th minute that was saved by their keeper. We then scored off a cross in the 10th minute only to have a mysterious offisdes called??? We also had a player taken down from behind in the box with three minutes left but the referee decided the Wa player got all ball though she really got nothing but Or player's ankle. Ended in a 0-0 draw but we were clearly the better team and flat out domintated for most stretches of the match and easily outshot them.

The OR 96 girls played the regional all star team this evening and tied 1-1, giving up a goal off a corner in the last 10 mins. or so. Sole goal of the week and a rather nice showing for the girls to end the week.
