    ODP/OYSA Future

Anyone understand what's happening with ODP? Heard OYSA terminated all the OPL coaches from the ODP staff. Is this true? What's happening with OYSA staff? How come they sent Mike and Val to the open forum and to Eugene and Salem. Are Chuck, Scott, and Mike too busy to talk to members?

I don't know. But I think I will start some more threads just to add clarity to the issue. I will name them:

The future of soccer in Oregon

    OYSA: Soccer in the future

OPL vs OYSA : One of these sucks more than the other.

ODP, OYSA, OPL and other acronyms that start with O

O - It looks like a pie... Lets cut it into pieces!

Just teasing! Really! But did we need ANOTHER thread on this subject?

    LOL

      Correction:

OYSA: NON-COMPETITIVE soccer in the future

I surely hope that OYSA didn't fire the OPL coaches for ODP. As far as I know our club ODP coaches are still coaching ODP.

I don't think they will be fired...too much going on in the summer to let them go now so who would they get to replace them on short notice with all the trainings and tournaments they have coming up? My guess is they probably won't be asked back for next year.

          Odp

I guess ODP will be losing a lot of players next year if they don't want our coaches. But, I am wondering what the Timbers MLS League will bring to youth soccer in Oregon.
