WOW. You are truely looking for any reason to bash the OPL. I thought this was an adult forum but I'm starting to reconsider that idea. For all you know it could just be technical difficulties. It happened to my website a month ago. It stated it had expired when it really hadn't.
I'm definitely starting to believe that a lot of this OPL bashing is coming directly from OYSA employees or at the very least parents with kids who are in OYSA. Open your mind and realize that change isn't always bad. We'll just see how it plays out. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. As long as my kids get the opportunity to play soccer then I could care less what organization they're under.

Then why are you posting on this forum? Frankly I find your attitude very shortsighted. As long as your kid plays soccer you don't care about anything else? I find that very hard to believe.
Personally, I think the fact that they let their website domain expire is not that big of a deal but is certainly a sign that it may not be the most well run organization. We'll see how happy you are if come Fall the same trend continues. As long as your kid is playing soccer, right?
LOL! When did I ever say that as long as my kids are playing soccer then NOTHING else matters? I do believe I said that I don't care what organization they play for.
And yes, as long as my kids want to play soccer, then the fact that they're out there playing and competing is what's important, not whether they're with OYSA or OPL. I could honestly care less.
I just find it sad that you have to find ANYTHING to pick on OPL about. You act as though OYSA has had no faults at all. Were you around when OYSA first started up? Did they run perfectly smoothly with no problems? Were you ready to bash them at the first sign of a problem?
I was just out at this URL and their domain name has not expired. Looks like they are using godaddy.com to host their site. You can go to pretty much any hosting site and enter a URL and it will verify for you whether the domain is available or not.

As noted in post #5, it appears that the domain has not expired. But it's not promising that OPL has allowed the domain to turn into a parking lot.
Yeah it works now but it wasn't working in the morning yesterday. Maybe they paid their bill or maybe it was just a glitch. Anyway, I just thought it was kind of funny.

I have several URL's hosted at several companies. This happens all the time. Server maintenance, site upgrades and many other things can cause that message.
Funny? Definitely! Should any conspiracy theory nuts read more into it? No.
