I thought todays game with FC Platinum and Thusc Sodium was going to be a battle to the end. Sorry to say it was not. The Thusc girls came out of the gate strong and never looked back. Congratulations to both clubs for making it this far, today was just not FC platinums day.

I never bought the "development" argument of the first part of the season for FC. They did turn it on in the end and deserve a lot of credit for that. I was very surprised they beat bend twice, but overall they went further in state cup than I expected and not quite as far as last year.

That is VERY IMPRESSIVE. I will say first class to the FC Portland parent that said that.
I will add there was a chunk full of FC players that stayed to watch the game afterwards with the Sodium girls, they all laughed and all looked like there were all from the same team.
After all, at the end of the day we all have to remember it is just a game!

I second the that remark. I also stayed and watched the second game and was really pleasantly surprised to see both teams sitting together and having a good time. I know several of them got to the same middle school, some have played ODP together. And you are exactly right, in the end it's just a game and really, it's all about the friendships! They will have many more games with AND against each other in the coming years and I wish them well.
