Question......becasue I am new to the split season.

Does this really effect the u-15s.

Will teams that were very good before the HS season hold the strength? Do teams lose focus?

yeah, like staring all over at soccer 101 since most of the HS coaches have no clue

It would be great if cdl came up with a winter season with a combine u-16, 17, and 18 team to play durning high school so kid could keep getting better the suffering through the boring pains of high school in which going to the denist would be more fun. Hope someone can come up with something along that line know a lot of player would rather do that then high school.

No, being seen in a tournament is a much better avenue. I don't think college coaches take high school in soccer seriously at all, even though it can sometimes pad your resume if you have good stats, but that's another thread.

The greater tampa area. It normally takes two or three weaks to break the bad habits that high school allows them to develop with the kick and chase mentality. :D

HS can be a waste of time and prone to injury

Maybe if you had a reduction it would be less painful.

Where do you play? You sound miserable. Good thing we don't have the same problem and have a shot at state finals. Some of the girls on my club team actually come back better. It's a great time to try things you don't get a chance to do on club. Weren't you staying in shape with your club team too and going to tournaments?

The CDL blows, especially in the older girls ages. Name one good team.

                          My My

Second time a post concerning SWU gets deleted- wonder why that is.-- is program out of control and they are trying to hide something? Heard a player left the school and at two are on "social probation"...

Academically its a good school- but socially a little off - not a place of nuturing but a place of crushing the spirit.

Current coach lacks people skills while the former coach was a people person and character builder.
