What a disappointing tournament this year!

Fields completely sucked, accomodations situation a total nightmare, ref's that wrote the book on home-cookin' and now no scores from even this morning's matches. Even though we didn't make it to the finals it would be nice to know who did at least.
This was our second and last year at this tournament.

Refs? Most games were played without AR's.

When tournament officials were approached about the lack of refs they were arrogant and really did not care. They just agreed and had no apologies. Our team will not be going back.
Had no complaints about competition, fields, or accommodations though. They were A+ but still not worth going back after experiencing their "I don't care attitude."
And one last word of advice to all tournament officials... Teams want refs, scores updated, and cut grass on decent fields. My kids also like a patch in their goody bag, not coupons to local merchants we will probably never use, or happy meal toys.

U14 Girls A Division. - 1st Game Tie.....2nd Game Both Teams played very rough, CESA (Home) Team, didn't have any flags called for roughness but AFU had 2. (2) PK's cost us the game. 2-0...Worst Ref'd game I'd ever seen. 3 Girls going down field, 2 CESA, 1 AFU and a CESA play trips her own player and the ref's call it on AFU. PATHETIC...this was one of many poor calls. 3rd Game AFU wins 3-0. CESA Ref's definately favoring their teams. Hope we don't have to waste time and money going here again. AFU Player kicks a ball and CESA stops the ball with her HAND in the box, a blind guy could have seen this one, ref's standing right there, doesn't call it. There was probably 15 if not more PATHETIC calls. Fields were pathetic, crowned is an understatement. CESA game they played with a flat ball, probably because if you had a properly inflated ball it would roll out of bounds everytime someone kicked it. WASTE OF A TOURNAMENT AND WASTE OF MONEY.
1ST GAME - AFU 1 ======BRIDGE 1
2ND GAME - AFU 0 ======CESA 2 (REF'S DECIDED THIS GAME)
3RD GAME - AFU 3 ======NASA PREMIER 0
POSTED BY A PARENT, NOT CESA

I couldn't agree more as far as the fields, the refs, and the hotel accommodations! Played three games, two without AR's. What a joke! Center Ref in game 2 admitted he didn't know all the rules ... WHAT? Needless to say he missed two very "important to the game outcome" calls! Hotel was a disgrace, but apparently "approved" by CESA. Perhaps someone from their organization should have stayed there before making that decision. Disgusting!

Bad fields (most of them), horrible officiating - sometimes without a linesman - poor hotel accomodations, below average overall management, and quite frankly, the only good thing was the level of competition in some age groups.

it on the parents. At our venue no water, ice, or concessions. Hotel - which were made 2 months ago - they put some of our families in Smoking Rooms - that they said they were going "to Spray out" Unacceptable! The rooms still stunk of smoke. Hotel was crummy to begin with. And the Refs Horrible and very biased for the SC Teams. Face it you might have been the exception with your experience. But if you look at the numerous posts the majority weren't!
