Um... perhaps you missed that Trump worked with Russia in 2016 and has had his minions continue to do so ever since. That is not returning the government to the American people. Perhaps you missed all the empty hotel rooms the Turkish government and Qatari government have booked over the last 4 years so that 1) Trump would stop calling Qatar a sponsor of terrorism as MBS wants and 2) we'd abandon the Kurds and look the other way while the Turkish dictatorship slaughters them. I do well, but I don't earn over 400K per year so this is not true. I also do not love borrowing money from the Chinese that my kids will have to pay off simply because I want lower taxes. I'm not that selfish. I'm good with borrowing in the lean years when stimulus is needed (like now) but giving tax cuts to explode the debt when we had been 9 years into a booming economy was short sighted and selfish. My grandparents sacrificed so America could be a better place for their kids and grandkids. People today do not want any sacrifice. They only want instant gratification and they do not care about others as much.

Ok, I don't want more money taken from me but, I also don't want our nation to default on debt causing the greatest financial meltdown the world has ever seen. Regarding taking more of my money:

I don't make more than $400k so his tax raise won't affect me.

Upping social security to $400k will take money out of my pocket each year as currently I max out. This is something that should be raised. Whether in one fell swoop raising it to 400k is right is debatable but, raising it 5k per year is not really making the dent that we need.

Financially short term I would do better under Trump but, he will really **** up this country. He needs to be defeated so the republicans can get their heads out of their asses and get back to their core values. Believe it or not racism, planting seeds of doubt in our election process, meeting with rogue nations and treating our veterans like **** is not a republican core value.
