The vast majority of deaths are those that were about to die of old age, or otherwise health compromised or living deviant, unhealthy lifestyles, but even so is still far less in the US than a typical flu season. This is because Trump is on top of it and shut down the borders (which the media and China Joe hyperventilated was xenophobic at the time). Joe I can understand - he owes China for giving his cokehead son billions - but the media? They've given up any pretense of objectivity. Where are the scathing columns about how we should shut down trade with China as retaliation for the pandemic they visited upon the world? How about we forgive our debt with them as punishment? Where are all those columns assigning blame where it belongs and demanding retribution? Just columns trying to damage Trump and help China Joe (as well as China, telling us we cant call it the Chinese virus).

Not only did this thing start in leftist China, but it has a disproportional effect in liberal big cities (where crime rates, mental illness and leftism all co-occur).

And this story comes after all the initial reports where the liberal media gleefully predicted that conservative, rural areas would be hardest hit because of suspicion the liberal media was crying the sky was falling. Dont want to see suffering anywhere, among liberals or conservatives, but the patterns of predictions by the media and actual rates are illuminating.

Essentially if liberals became conservatives, and lived like conservatives, they would live a lot longer, win fewer Darwin awards, and the global economy would be healthier. Think about that when you pull the lever for China Joe.
