It's called "Operation Chaos" and it was originally started by Rush Limbaugh to try to defeat Clinton by having Republicans switch parties for primaries. He used to bring it up every election cycle to try to water down the opposition's candidates and burn through their war-chest. Wouldn't that be funny if all the Dems switched parties and changed the entire Republican platform to pro-choice.
