All the other clubs in this area are not even close to the talent level in the upper age groups for the DA. Talent attracts talent. Just like winners surround themselves with winners. This actually speaks volumes for the program at OC. I noticed you didn't mention the U16 player however. He has been home grown and with the coaches at OC since he was 7 or 8 back to the CFK days.
Well I guess I could have talked about the 3rd kid then that is U15 player that also didn't get developed at OC, but rather just came to them. So you really shouldn't come on here talking about all these national team players when all but 1 were developed at other clubs and most were already in the national program before they came to OC.

Neymar and Luis Suarez were developed by Barca.

I wondered how long it would take you to re-post that. What happened to your boycott or whatever it was that you had planned for the first Orlando City game?

You mean the child that never went to a national camp before he got to OC? And what about the other U14 DA boy who was in National camp in December that has been with those coaches since he was 7 or 8 also? 2 boys from the 14 DA were at national camp in December. 1 U16 DA player is on the U16 national team and travelling with them now. Another is on the Jamaican U17 national team, another was previously in the US U17 residency program, and another current residency player has decided to joined them. #ThereWillBeHaters

We have seen many corrective actions being taken by the club recently. It is not enough to completely serve as a professionally run club, but it is in the right direction and is a good start. Like we said before, we want to see OCYS succeed and win several state cups to compliment their MLS, DA and ECNL side. That is the only measure which will explain who is the superior club in the state or country. We are OC fans and will not tolerate OCYS running poor service to any lower level teams, period. Our struggle to throw out many of the bad apples will continue, specially those who have destroyed development opportunities for each and every player because of their self-serving agendas.

Specially now on, it will not be wise of OCYS choosing to continue with poor training standards to all.... time to widen your vision and grow into a far bigger pool of skilled players. Only then, you will get 100% support from more of us.

This makes logical sense. If Pro players train you then results will show right! Otherwise, it is a shame to those Pro's for taking that fee ?????

Go back and read the conversation. Someone wanted to bring up the three kids that are with the national team programs right now, and what a great job OC is doing developing players. Yes 1 of those players has been with GB for a long time, the U17 player that they talked about never has played a game with OC, the other younger kid wouldn't have been with the national team before since he would have been to young. Two of the three that were talked about weren't developed by Oc, and 1 has never played a game for them. These kids were already in line to the US teams. Also the one that was in the U17 residency program wasn't there very long, don't think even through the fall. You would think if the kid was good enough for US soccer to put him into the residency program that OC would play him on the U18 team instead of the U16s. it has nothing to do with being a hater, just show a little integrity.
