OCYS will lose players to other clubs. ECNL is the big draw but isn't big enough to accommodate everyone. Solid players that don't make it will leave. It happens in every club. I agree with the other posters that bring up the fact that OC does not promote purple team players. These other players have college potential too and will look elsewhere for exposure.

Who cares as long as the best players come to OC? You are either a community club providing recreation to your members or a pro club providing a path to college and/or career. HM has been exposed and everyone is leaving the lies.

Most everyone agrees that ECNL is the way to go. With that said, why would someone play purple if they had a opportunity at WFF or another top team? That's my point. If they don't make OC ECNL, look for some to explore other options. You guys said it yourself, ECNL is the best. Sure purple players get scholarships but how many compared to ECNL?

I have 2 kids that play for OC but I have to say you're an idiot. Top levels teams are a fraction of OC success. We made that a mistake a coiple years ago and a bunch a people left including good players. It took us years to rebuild. OC has to be attractive to a host of players and families to ensure future stability. Where do u think the money comes from to fund our top programs. Stop being our worst enemy.

FKK has one good team that's it, they are not even close to OC. Let's not put them in the same conversation. After tryouts this year when the top FKK kids move to ECNL FKK will have nothing

This is a valid observation. This team may never gel given the personalities on the team and coaching talent to work through it.

Krush 15s are significantly better than OC 15s. At this age group it is a no brainier. Why continue to argue about it?

OC, WFF, FKK, Sunrise, Clay, JFC, and a bunch other clubs have great players and teams. That's not going to change.

OC has a problem of to many superstars(hypathetical problem,not a bad thing). That will take alot longer to mold as a team than ones with good talent(Fkk) When it happens it's a beautiful thing to watch if it does, but you have to play together and that can be cumbersome with patience needed. These clubs posses the best talent in Central Florida and possibly the state. There are no arguments about that.

When the top 2 players from FKK U13 make the OC U14 squad next season it will only enhance an already strong OC team. If you can't beat them, join them! Plus, ECNL is king for committed soccer enthusiasts.

That is where the FKK niche is. If you are not on the top team at OC and you want to be, then the best route is to play on the top team for another club as a starter. If your kid is not a starter on any team, find a new team. Touches on the ball is important.

FKK we get it. You only have one team in your entire community club that could beat Orlando city and you are despartley trying to stop those 15's from leaving to play ECNL. Give it a rest its sad and stop with these BS threads. You don't see OC coming on TS bashing your ****ty teams that wouldn't be within 4 goals of OC and at the younger ages it's mercy rule in every game.
