She is not that bad this year. Usually takes about one solid year of ECNL for the "superstars" to realize they are not that super. After the first dose of humility comes resolution where they realize that distributing the ball can lead to higher percentage scoring opportunities. She has actually done better setting up plays and making assists now that she actually has other good players around her. Charlotte was a good wake up call and the girls are starting to gel as a team. By March they be hitting their stride and will be tough to beat. Look for that group to advance to finals this year as long as the daddy coaches can behave.

1- If you watched the Women's U20 World Cup you saw USA lose in the quarter-finals so let's be honest, the USA is top 5 at best.

I don't know if you can honestly say it is the taxpayers dime. Women's soccer at fsu is the beneficiary of success in men's football at fsu and the title 9 tax on the football and basketball programs. To sustain the men's money making programs, you have to play the title nine game and funnel money and growth into women's programs.

It is probably more accurate to call it the matching money that had to be spent to sustain the funding of the men's programs that generate revenue off the work if the unpaid athletes.
