77 teams registered. I am just wondering if this tournament will really happen. 52 of the teams are OC teams. I would rather know in advance so our team could possibly do another tournament. I hope is does happen because we can play and not have to travel and pay for hotel.
Didn't you start this thread last year? Everyone knows you have no intention of attending the OC tournament. You are just trying to discourage everyone else from attending also.
news are the new coach in the u15 b belilttle a kid in front of the team.some new d0uchebag FC hired.
yeah, some new guy who just happens to be a former US U20 national team coach and MLS coach. sorry your poor little Landycakes got called out in front of his teammates--if he plans on playing at high levels, get used to it or go out for the kite flying club
So you would rather the girls play most of their ECNL games prior to high school, then go into a 20 + game season for high school with no rest??? Are you serious about that? because then the girls start again with the Sanford Showcase finish out Districts for High School then go back to showcases... So you're saying you would rather them be none stop for 6 months. I hope that holds up because to a lot of us that just increases the chances for injuries especially when high school is so sloppy. Again give it a rest.
Right now the ECNL teams are doing nothing. Point is, get in some of the ECNL games now to spread out the season. Given the choice most of those girls will elect to try to play both HS and ECNL. So yes, go non-stop for six months rather than play the same number of games in 4 months.
Neither my son nor daughter are in college. I know all about how it works I played D1 soccer as well and got a good education and played some semi-pro as well. What I did was take my academics seriously and got my degree then pursued my MBA and have a high level job at a Fortune 500 company where I can take care of my family and one day pay for my children's college education.
Great post. This is really what it is all about. This is how all parents should be raising their children. Extra-curricular activities are great for your child, but it does much more for them then being good at that sport. It helps them develop skills that they will need when they have their own family.

You do realize that they have to have someone to play against, don't you? So you expect them to convince several other clubs to play their games earlier, just so your kid can play high school? Must be nice to have the entire world revolve around you.

Go away and worry about your own club.
Our team is doing Adidas Columbus Day Cup. ACDC rocks.

ECNL season started Aug 30. OC already rescheduled their first Sept weekend games to November. So that's four games that could have been accomodated right there. December games that conflict with HS could have been played either earlier or later. I'm not asking anyone to revolve around me, just saying the schedule could have been set to at least reduce the number of conflict weekends a little and avoid many of the issues with overplaying. I realize there's other circumstances involved, I'm just saying it's possible if the clubs really wanted to allow girls to play both and minimize the risks.

It is funny, you don't hear much complaining from the boys side about no hs soccer.

Hi Paul. What's on the agenda today? Couple installs?
Agreed. How is it so sad that he is roaming the sidelines watching his kids play sports while donating money and time to large numbers of other kids? How many rich guys do you know that spend their spare time as the bus driver of other peoples kids?
Lets clarify why he is a rich guy. He's a white collar thief who deserves to be investigated by the Securities & Exchange Commission and do time. He took many people on a financial ride and manipulated local leaders as well with DD. He is your version of Kenneth Lay. He may be a good bus driver but he is a better white collar criminal.

By the way criminals like Pablo Escobar built schools, hospitals and homes for the poor in addition to helping soccer players, doesn't make up for the wrongs. He is no Robin Hood but he did rob the hood.
