I know cases where the kid has out played and out worked many of the kids on the top team and yet others get to "play" while this kid had been moved around and hardly ever started. And whenever he did play he also showed better than a lot of the so called " starters" . Point is, its not as clear as it seems, and the squeaky parents usually wins out in benefit for their kid.
