Here is the problem FKK will run into. The kids playing in this league are mostly college kids on summer break. These kids all have aspirations of playing pro - not saying that is a great goal, but it is the truth. If they have the choice of playing for a MLS u23 team or just another u23 team which do you think they will choose? I like JA and hope both do well as I believe competition is a good thing. Just being realistic.

Well JA is the one with the college connections and the coaches want the kids to play for a coach they trust. You must understand the kids are owned by the schools. If a coach tells the kids to play for Joe, guess what, they play for Joe. He has a 15 year history of taking kids and not destroying them over the summer. He has also put more kids into the pros than any other PDL team in history.

Next your logic seems really flawed. OC is telling everyone they are playing the young DA kids. This after they started the summer with the college kids you are referring to and could not win. So which is it. The college kids or the DA kids. The league is set up to be a mix which is what Joe has done for years. His last year he had Omar (high school kid now playing Pro), Mendoza ( playing Pro), Saunders (playing pro), Russo ( high school kid) Moore (plays for Seattle U23s), Greydon (high school kid) Adama( high school kid now playing for for City 1st team). We could keep going down the list but it would not matter.

OC has destroyed a long history of success in 2 short years. It is a shame Phil felt the need to do what he did to Joe but Phil has a history of this wherever he goes. This is nothing new.

I think you will be surprised exactly how good of a team FKKs U23s team will be after they get it back up and running again. They will have good people involved outside of JA like Geltz, Menard and Colado and others. It will be a well organization just like it was when it was the CFK U23 team.

You seem to have a man crush on JA. You also seem overly involved. I have experience with JA and his "connections". I like JA, but he will exaggerate how well connected he is. The only difference between JA and GB is JA is likeable. I am not invested at all in the OC 23's, but they are playing a mix of the younger kids and the college kids. They started the summer with the college kids because the DA season wasn't over. When it ended they brought 5 kids up from the DA and they are now playing with the 23's. Get a life. I simply mentioned a challenge FKK would have. I believe it will be a challenge.

He sent a ton to the next level. The FKK ID camp was all done by Joe. 15 coaches in about a week. Connections are connections and what Hue has on the girls side Joe has on the boys side.

Not just connections- CREDIBILITY. Joe and Hue have it. They've built it up over the years and they work hard to maintain it. GB and OC staff have burned their credibility.

Believe what you want to believe and hope your way of having to rely on someone to get you into college is good for your kid. Solid academics, player development, parental support combined with our club's ability to provide the top league's for exposure is our way. There are plenty of clubs throughout Florida getting kids into college without the need of promoting individuals. BTW not very many are buying your propaganda by the looks of where players are going for their development and college exposure both on the boys and girls side.

What are you talking about? Obviously not that of which you have any knowledge, that is for sure. The boys side put 16 into D1 schools and 8 others into d2 and d3. 16 D1 is a lot more than your club put in on the boys side total (and only 1 of those was d1 and with no money). I think you may need to lighten up on the drugs or open your eyes. Who is buying the propaganda again?

Lets be very clear

I don't know but I saw in back to back weeks at the XL Soccer Indoor center a U10 OC Lions boys team lose to two FKK boys teams. One of those teams were JAs U9/U10 boys that beat the U10 OC Lions 12-3 and the other game a rising U9 FKK boys team beat the U10 OC Lions 7-5 and I'm pretty sure it was either one of OCs purple or white teams. I realize these are very young kids and doesn't mean a whole lot because much will change over the year, but I would hope the OCYS boys team's would be stronger considering the sell they have or the sell they are trying to make in regards to MLS, but maybe the OCYS boys teams aren't as strong as people think or suggest.

There has never been or will never be a FKK youth team age group for age group to beat OCYS on the boys side. OCYS purple teams are NOT playing in the XL league. Maybe one or two players but not teams. You do not even want to know the score on indoor or outdoor youth boys game of FKK at u9 through U14 playing the boys ocys teams top teams VS Top teams--age group to age group. Your post shows the lack of facts in this case! You don't even want to go down this path. OCYS youth 3rd level boys teams have beaten FKK top teams. So please STOP!

Well that certainly didn't happen at this U9/U10 level. I don't disagree on a whole OCYS has better boy's team, but I also don't believe the boy's teams at FKK are as bad as you may think or want to believe.
