Phil went to the county and the papers and tried to make it sound like Central Winds was going to be used. They use it for rec and emergency use only. The main goal was to put FKK out of business.

GB is the biggest scum bag in all of Orlando

Central Winds Park will see an increased role in the organization's activities this year, Brick said.

"Central Winds [Park] is a very important hub for our club," Brick said. "Central Winds is our main east campus - as a matter of fact we're making Central Winds our main hub for our U.S. Soccer Development Academy. It's very important to us."
Did you just wake up out of a coma? We have been on here for weeks discussing how HM and his cronies created an illegal club within OC's 14-mile rule. Central Winds was simply OC claiming its territory per FYSA rules. Even though HM attempted to skirt the rules claiming a tiny park with only a few fields as their home fields, FYSA saw through this ruse and denied affiliation.

Now we are hearing about the Maitland Krush playing State Cup. What a joke! You think this move to snag player passes is going to impress the FYSA BOD and they will grant your affiliation? Think again. It is going to be another cold August for your outlaw club. Enjoy another year relegated to the dungeon of CDL.

Out of interest isn't OC moving under US Clubs? If so wouldn't the FYSA rules not stand up for the 14 mile rule.

OC calls tryouts when they want OC claims FYSA importance when deemed nessssarry OC uses US Club to recruit. OC moving towards complete US club status but won't tell FYSA anytime soon especially to keep competitors at bay.

          FYSA blind to this truth.

OC trying hard to put a wedge between Maitland and FKK.

So... you're mad because FKK used the rules to outsmart OCYS? Is that it?

Pardon my ignorance but what does complete US club status mean? Are there advantages and possibly disadvantages with such a move?

If they went by the rules OC wouldn't be able to have passes for region and state cup. Advantage is no poaching violations if getting players/coaches from FYSA clubs. And no need to hold tryouts same time as FYSA affiliated clubs

OC has affiliations with FYSA and US Club Soccer. FKK has CDL affiliation which left their U14 premier team without a league. Had they just moved east a few miles, they would be enjoying their own player passes and all girls would be playing league games.

Outsmart??? That is freak'n hilarious. You outsmarted your club right into a shrinking league that had nothing for your U14 players. Well done Einstein.

Best to keep both affiliations. FYSA is much better for younger developing talent. More local offerings and great recreations programs through GCF. US Club is for teens and older.

US Club is great for premier talent that needs to travel to play skilled teams. Rather than crush local teams 8-0 (no pun intended), the FPL and ECNL programs can travel to play better games. Players improve when they play skilled teams. Hopefully some of the teams can earn R3PL and NPL status as the players develop.

For the last time, US Club Soccer does not have the same poaching rules as FYSA. If OC is talking to FYSA coaches and players to move over to ECNL, it is perfectly legal. That is why OC has FYSA affiliation. Most every club in the area has taken that allegation to FYSA and it does not hold water. OC does not recruit coaches or players to move over to their FYSA teams.

The only problem I see is that that Stadium is being built mainly by the Falcons. $200 million of the $1 Billion+ is being paid for by Home Depot Zillionaire and Falcons owner Arthur Blank. You know that stadium will be tricked out in Falcons swag. Not sure it would be ideal for an MLS team. If MLS average attendance is around 30,000, that is half capacity. Same problem OC has with Citrus Bowl. Even a great turnout looks pretty small. Better to have a 40,000 seat dedicated soccer stadium somewhere in North Atlanta where Gwinett or Cobb will give them the right incentives and you are close to those upper middle income soccer households.
MLS average attendance is about half of what you have here. The average with Seattle(44,000 avg) numbers factored in is just over 18,000. I will be surprised if we aren't below the median number the second year unless we are winning. That is why Orlando is building a 18,000 seat stadium, they don't need any more than that. Nobody has built a 40,000 seat soccer specific stadium in the US or Canada. There were 2 teams that averaged 20,000 and Seattle that averaged 44,000, but other than those it isn't necessary.

So none of the players that went to tryouts and were picked for a FPL team are playing with an FYSA pass.

Please explain to me how a club can take other clubs players over their own players for Super Y. Where is the loyalty OC? Are they they much better than the girls aready at OC? Do you not want to develop your own girls or do you just want to steal?
