College coaches could care what the score of a game is, they care about watching the players play. We have been blown away by all the college coaches we have seen. It has been something great! Thanks for having a such a nice event.

they have MLS, and also every D-I college coach in the nation watching their teams and the rest of the teams in the ECNL. Hope those that bash the ECNL have been out to watch, again, second to none. If your daughter can play at a high level then she should be playing on an ECNL team.

Its not about playing with an ecnl team……being seen as girls run by you does NOTHING for your daughter…Training….training….training……Your results show the QUALITY of training you are getting…….Toodles

A lot of coaches talking, they are very happy with the turn out. My daughter has talked to two coaches that are very interested in her and we would not have had this experience without ECNL and yes they are D1 schools.

Direct communication between a player and a coach (other than a simple "hello") at a showcase or tournament is a violation of NCAA recruiting rules. I guess they're not teaching you that at the Purple Clown Club.

really you have MLS. We all have MLS if we want to attend a game. No one turns down ticket sales. You talk about MLS like you own MLS. Are you a board member? Will you be up in the press box? Will you be calling the shots in the locker room.

You can talk with coaches, you have to be very careful in what you say. As well the coach can go directly to the players coach to talk about player. Also you have scouts at the event and if the person you are communicating with is not officially at the event what's the rules then .

The OCYS Stalker is very bitter about something (maybe fired from OC/OCYS or maybe has a kid not accepted at OCYS) and/or insanely envious (of ECNL? Of USSDA?) and is totally obsessed with all things OC/OCYS.

The rules are very explicit. They say nothing about "being careful what you say". yes, the club staff can have direct contact, but the poster claimed "My daughter has talked to two coaches that are very interested in her..."

As to "scouts"- the rules are the rules. whether employed directly by the University or not, a direct contact at a Showcase or tournament between a player and a representative of the University outside of a simple greeting is not allowed.
