I was just looking at OCYS's website to get information for their college ID night. I'm interested for my son to get added exposure but was interested if anybody knew what invitations were? Is this another term for scholarship? If yes impressive.

"In our continued effort to set the standard for excellence for youth soccer in Central Florida, OCYS is hosting its second annual College ID Camp on February 15 and 16, 2014. The OCYS College ID Camp will be held at Seminole Soccer Complex and is designed to showcase players to college coaches through training sessions and game experiences, allowing for the opportunity to be seen in their natural environment.

Numerous college coaches from varying levels will be in attendance, and the cost for the ID Camp is just $125 per person or $95 per player, if you bring a team of 10 or more players. Last year, the inaugural OCYS ID Camp saw over 35 players receive invitations from the university coaches in attendance."

My concern with this camp would be this, what are you paying for. I have taken my son to several ID camps, but I always knew what I was getting for my money. I always knew what coaches were going to be at the camp when I signed up for it. This camp has no list of what coaches will be there so I wouldn't spend my money on it. For them not to have a list together even if partial would worry me a little. It will depend on how much you trust them to have a college there that fits what your child is looking for in a college.
