Well. that's certainly a high-intensity post you have there.

I was interested to learn that OCYS has launched "pre-ECNL", even though there seems to be no such thing accoridng to the ECNL league. Sounds like Phil has devised yet another way to suck money out of SoccerDaddies.

PR said in the speech to the city that they currently have 3 players on national teams, which players? I read the site they have a boy on the U15 but cant find the others.

2 in the club and 1 playing on a Chicago academy team currently. Heard they may get 2 kids national team from that Chicago academy. Both boys are from here but one does residency in academy up there.

Did anybody post any official response from the league or OCYS regarding this incident? Haven't dropped by in a few weeks.

BTW, I was there. If any headbutt occurred it was the back of the refs head into the coach's forehead as he was choking him. That would explain the bump/cut on the coach and nary a mark on the ref.

No. Attention has shifted to FKK teams leading Club Diretors League in yellow/red cards, including foul & abusive language directed at a referee and multiple unsportsmanlike conduct violations.

RAWLINS ANNOUNCES CURE FOR CANCER DISCOVERED

In a stunning follow up to his victory in convincing gullible politicians to provide public funding for his tiny soccer stadium, Orlando City Soccer President Phil Rawlins held a press conference to claim credit for recent advances in medicine that may lead to breakthroughs in cancer research.

At a hastily convened news conference at Orlando City Soccer's lavish Winter Park Headquarters, Rawlins announced that researchers at the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins have isolated certain chromosome markers that may indicate the presence of amino acids signalling early warnings of cancer for at-risk groups.

Reading from prepared remarks, Rawlins noted that "many of the scientists invloved in the studies are reportedly soccer fans". He also cited reports that the lead researcher at Mayo once wore a purple tie to work- which Rawlins claims is an indication that he is specifically motivated in his research by his support of the Orlando City Lions PDL soccer team in central Florida.

"We've always believed that our organization was about much more than just soccer" Rawlins crowed. "It's obvious to me that the great work we're doing here in Orlando has had a ripple effect throughout the US, culminating in this potential breakthrough in cancer research" . Though he took no questions from the assembled press, Rawlins concluded his announcement with his organization's plans to immedaitely apply for a Federal Medical Research Grant to pay the estimated $87 million in franchise fees needed to secure Orlando City's entry into Major League Soceer. "We think it's only right that taxpayers assist us in out Public-Private partnership, given the positive impact our organization has had in cancer research that benefits the entire nation and the world".
