A big congratulation to Andy Murray from Scotland on winning Wimbledon.

This is a huge accomplishment for Andy and all of the United Kingdom is proud especially his fellow Countrymen from Scotland.

    Congrats Andy!

    Scotland is Proud of you!

      "...HS soccer is counter-productive"?

Say, this guy HM must be REAL POPULAR amongst the Orlando area's HS soccer coaches, eh?

With that said, this clown had the audacity to parade his happy behind around to the different commitment/signing ceremonies at Orlando area local high schools?

      What a flaming hypocrite.

FUNNY....I think he was INVITED to those signings by the kids! Even more telling would be the OCYS staff that went to those signings......

I think if the weather was better, it would have been a better turnout. It was very cold!

Now that's funny, they want to play college soccer, but the cold kept them away.

Okay! At least I understand why they cancel the tournaments now. That makes sense.
I just hope they give enough notice if they cancel the others.

He got his tennis education in Spain and lives in Miami and England. Just because he had the misfortune to be born in Scotland don't taunt the poor boy about it forever.... let him forget those dark days.

Oh, so that's why the list changed, because those D1 coaches from up north didn't want to come to Florida in the winter because of the cold. sorry, I didn't understand, I thought you were talking about the low turn out of players that they had.

Yes, I am completely okay with it. My kid joined FKK, and we're looking forward to a great season.

I'm sure FKK WOULD hold a series of events/tournaments if they owned a facility like SSC. Most businessment would see it as a huge opportunity, since field rental is a big expense for any club. It seems loke OC is satisfied to keep an under-utilized 'dead asset' on the books rather than leverage it for revenue and to enhance the club's reputation.

Umm... you're kinda spouting off with few facts. Some might call you an "idiot".

Is HM 'popular' among HS coaches? Probably not- but when it comes to soccer, popularity is really not his goal. He seems to be genuinely concerned about over-training and safety that happen because of the club/HS overlap here in Florida. he also has commented about the quality of HS training- which is generall y laccking (with a few notble exceptions, of course).

As to attending ceremonies with players on NLI Day back in February, I'm sure if you had the tiniest clue you would know he was INVITED to every one of them by players who wanted to acknowledge his impact on their soccer careers. You see, the VENUE for the signing is not important- it could be done anywhere. HS's LOVE it when an athlete chooses to sign an NLI at school so they can associate with the players' success- whether they had anything to do with it or not. If you know anything about soccer recruiting, you'd know that one's HS soccer accomplishments are not a big deal in the mix of considerations.

The fact that the players invite their club Director to the ceremony speaks volumes about the respect and admiration they have for HM.

I can answer that... the number of OCYS staff invited to attend college signing ceremonies last February was zero. Meanwhile, the little blue car was zipping all over Orlando from ceremony to ceremony...
