Where do you think they play? Thursday, Monday, Tuesday? Did they put Colorado and Ohio on the schedule? Atlanta and Charlotte are 7 hours. Maybe lose half of a Friday to play on three trips. Dramatic much?

In a bus both cities are nine hours away. Missing school all day on Friday for every road game and follow that with a return on Sunday night at 11pm. Its free, but is it worth the compromise?

And the recent delayed air flights for the girls that walked onto a field 1 hour before their ECNL game after sitting in an airport all night...a bus ride would have been quicker and less risk of delays on that one, huh?

I don't have a girl, but who says a bus ride is any less riskier or quicker than a flight? Just as much can go wrong taking a bus than a flight. Travel is travel. There is going to be a risk no matter how you choose to do it. This is part of the deal. Unforseen things can and will happen.

This is almost as bad as some parents complaining to the coaches and directors because practices and games were getting cancelled due to poor weather. Really? Coaches and directors control the weather now too? LOL

Can't wait to hear the howls when players are REQUIRED to ride the "free bus" even if they want to fly. It's a free bus- so no complaining, no compromise. Got a test on Friday? Too bad. Got a project due Monday? Do it on the free bus.

Lets face it. Even if OCYS was paying for plane tickets its not what will attract the better players. Those players want the best development and training environment possible with solid competiton. Free bus tickets or plane tickets doesn't change the fact that the ECNL program at OCYS is still on probation and have just recycled local coaches in who had never heard of ECNL til last year when FCA failed to earn ECNL membership. Those same folks are now In charge of a program they couldn't put together. Lets see how long this lasts....

FWIW these were OCYS parents that were complaining about the weather. Whether they are staying or not I don't know, but people shouldn't act as if only one club has the "crazy" people. Let's be honest they are at both FKK and OCYS. No soccer club is immune to these type of folk.

Wrong, friend. all the nut jobs, whiners, malcontents and crazies have officially left OCYS. all the members now at Orlando's Biggest and Most Prestigious Youth Soccer Club are content, quiet, passive and happy to have Mia and Landy absorb the superior training on the pastoral fields of Seminole... there will be no unease. No discontent. No questioning of the youth Soccer Professionals' judgement and decisions.

Hey I agree. Nobody is forcing people to make you do something you don't want to do and if they are then that is the parents problem. Don't blame it on somebody/something else.
