Parents are so blind to the obvious. As the players get older at OC they fall behind the rest of the country. Look at the results of the older boys as they move up the ranks. The oldest DA team for the last two years has been terrible. The 15/16 started off well the last two years but got worse as the year progressed. The younger team had a great year but they are playing against itty bitty tiny kids across the country and are playing with mostly freshman in high school and even some 10th graders. The training itself has been poor all the way around. Way too much functional training for kids. Hey AH these kids are not pros! The have a long way too go. They have to learn the game. They can market this and that and jump up and down but fact is if your kid wants to get better they need a real coach and need to improve every single year. That does not happen at City.
They will recruit year in and year our to fill the squads.

The fact that parents continue to get on here in an attempt to bash kids is unbelievable. The fact is last season has just come to an end and no one knows what next year will bring but by the looks at tryouts for certain teams this will be an exciting season. Let the kids play stop bashing just because you are a little bent.

You are a soccer idiot! Those that actually know soccer would disagree with you. The DA older team is putting EVERY kid into the next level so college coaches don't agree that they are terrible. Not most kids, or a majority, EVERY kid. Most are going to D1 schools. The 16's had a good year no matter how you measure, and the 14's the same. Go spew your ignorance at the local BWW where people might listen to you and think you know something.

Some stay back a year because the don't get what they want and play as a u-19 player. Doesn't sound like big time soccer if you have to stay and extra year! EVERY kid? Want to go down the FT list so you can be proven wrong.

Finally a fair and honest post

Stop looking back and look forward. OCYS and OCSC will remain in the area. Just everyone needs to worry about your own club and team. Just focus on making your situation better rather than putting others down to build you up!

Oh never mind, you're actually just trolling. My bad bringing facts in.
