Here is the million dollar question.
Will the DA U17-18 finish the season with enough players if you recall last year they went to Dallas in June with just 12 players and had to use 15-16 DA players to sit on bench so they could fool US soccer into thinking they had enough players per DA rules dressed out for game.

The only reason to play ECNL is to get recruited to play college soccer. The window to develop a high level player into a potential college recruit is 2 years (U14- U16). The college recruitment time window is only 18 months during U16-U18. Can you afford to have your daughter play at club that is trying to figure this out? Can you afford to give a club 12-18 months to develop and improve? Hopefully this helps you understand why the mass exodus and continued defections from OCYS will occur.

College recruitment is just a byproduct of the girls supposedly being developed at a club. If any club in ECNL is doing their job the correct way than the girls will be moving along to colleges and will able to perform at that level. It doesn't matter if it is ECNL or DA, there are always going to be clubs that have good players that don't go to those clubs that will create other great teams. If there are ECNL and DA clubs that really aren't developing the players than is that really the correct place for the best players to be playing. Isn't it the responsibility of the DA and ECNL to help make sure these clubs are developing the players, if that's what they truly trying for.

Don't act like he was just picked of of thin air because of his accomplishments. The bigger accomplishment is a girls coach running the boys side ... haha
