Columbus Day is around the corner. Ya baby. This is gonna be a bonanza. Fun fun fun.
TBU tournament already has 280 teams registered. TBU has 2 directors.
OCYS has how many Directors? The resumes are impressive as always the articles and marketing are top drawer but the substance might be less then written about.

Well if you can't build anything I guess you buy or get it gift wrapped for free.
It's all about controlling fields in Central Florida and money.
The soccer innocence is gone.
Orlando be ware.
It is all about the payoff of winning an MLS franchise.
Wake up folks! Keep your eye on the prize. This whole effort is about MLS and a favorable stadium deal. OCYS is just a dalliance along the way to the big payoff.

This college scholarship thing is so much hype, as we grow, our kids exposure grows and more of our kids will go to bigger better schools. It is a product of growth and being seen. Lots of kids have always gone to college on scholarships. Fca has an impressive résumé there as well but don't publicize it to everyone one with ears to promote themselves.

It is a private enterprise, and if he wants to build a stadium and have a team more power to him, but not at our expense. He will try to give us MLS, and he may succeed but if he doesn't it will be off to the next town and leave you again with FSA. He promises you a chance for your "boys" to get a professional contract playing soccer if you just follow him. The professional soccer path is so much hype as only .02% of the kids playing soccer will ever play soccer professionally. He will continue to dangle the prospect though so that he can milk us out of more of our hard earned money. I say don't fall for it, make sure that your kids can get to college with good grades.
Does OCYS know who runs their youth club? Is it PR or somebody else? I think that is a fair question.

PR would run over all our kids tomorrow if it meant getting MLS and a stadium. You know it and I know it.

Steve Rammel has been running the club on an interim bases and now is doing it full time. Great guy, very well connected, works well with other but not afraid of holding people accountable. OC did well to bring him on full time. I look forward and am very excited by continued positive rise at OCYS.

Do you really believe SR is running the club or does everybody just beckon at PRs every call? From the outside looking in it looks like PR is running the youth club as well and SR isn't doing much of anything.
From the few parents I talk to that decided to stay at OCYS they still telling me they are having the same communication problems as last year like receiving an email about a parents meeting only 24 hours before the meeting happens and they are still getting CMs awful hard to understand unprofessional emails.

SR will never be held accountable for anything at that club.
$120k a year will make any person PR's slave.

The elected officials of Orlando and Orange County need to recognize PR for the carpet nagger that he is. He moved his operations here because the tourist tax fund is free finance money. Spending tourist generated tax funding on this professional soccer boondoggle is irresponsible.

I must agree with you on this one. Quality over quantity is always a good formula for any business. If Major League Soccer wants to expand, they should expand their wallets in a different direction and bring in the best soccer players.
